Ken Surley holds a degree in Organ Performance and Choral Music Education from Baylor University where he studied with Dr. Joyce Jones. His service playing experience ranges from a one-room country church with no electricity to playing for Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican. He has served as Choir Director and/or Organist in Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, and Baptist churches.
Mr. Surley has served as organist at Plymouth Park for over sixteen years. A published music arranger, he has performed, recorded, and toured with the Turtle Creek Chorale, Dallas Symphony Chorus, Fort Worth Men’s Chorus, and various church choirs. These performances have taken him from the West Coast of the U.S. to Carnegie Hall, Switzerland, England, Scotland, Italy, Vatican City, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Israel.
